Quarter Life Crusader

Travels, musings, passions and hilarities of a 25 year old single girl.

Who Am I?

If there were 2 words that most perfectly described me, it would be Cheerful Dalliance.

dal-li-ance. n. a brief love affair; a trifling away of time dawdling; playful behavior; amorous toying flirtation.

I seem to delve into cheerful love affairs with much that I encounter, whether it be an idea, a sport, a flower, a picture, words on paper, or just a fleeting fantasy. This sweet serendipitous journey we call life is meant to be lived larger than the universe itself.

The world is full of things we don’t understand, which means there is always going to be something to learn, discover, and try. And that is AWESOME.

I struggle to realize how anyone could ever be bored in the world we live in.

In fact, I don’t think I ever understood the concept of boredom in general.  My life has been overflowing with school, gymnastics, music, writing, dance, ideas, dreams, adventures and activities. There are always people to meet, places to go, things to see, stuff to learn!

4 years ago, I had carefully engineered my life’s own mission statement so that it reflected the person I was and the person I wanted to be. Looking at it today…it hasn’t changed one bit:

‘I live my life with confidence, passion and enthusiasm, as a dreamer, an idealist, a laugher, an adventurer and a helper while doing my best to bring joy to everyone I meet.’

My hope is to laugh, dream, fail, succeed, and everything in between. And if I can inspire some people along the way, that’s just icing on the cake!

Keep on Crusading,
